Welcome to Connect’s Investor Education Level 1: Foundation Course

This is Connect’s introductory investor education program covering the fundamentals of angel investing — for first-time investors, startup coaches, and anyone interested in learning how angel investing works. The program is delivered in collaboration with Life Science Invest AB (LSI) through its founders, Ann-Charlotte Beckman and Magnus Klaesson. LSI has conducted numerous training courses for both business angels and startup coaches in recent years. This course provides a solid understanding of angel investing and is ideal for anyone curious about building a startup portfolio.

Pre-requisites

No prior angel investing or startup experience required — you are welcome to apply as long as you are curious about angel investing and can follow the program sessions and complete the homework.

Ann-Charlotte Beckman | Co-Founder Life Science Invest, Angel Investor

ACB is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor with a background in nursing and marketing/ sales in big pharmaceutical companies. She co-founded Life Science Invest (LSI), Sweden’s largest angel investor network focused on life science, medtech, and healthtech startups. Ann-Charlotte previously co-owned and led Netdoktor. After an exit to Bonnier Healthcare 2016 she later becoming COO of Bonnier Healthcare Sweden. Through LSI, she has helped channel over €6 million into 40 Nordic startups, actively shaping the region’s life science ecosystem.

Magnus Klaesson | Chairman Life Science Invest, Angel Investor

Magnus is a trained pharmacist and has many years of experience in marketing and sales, both nationally and internationally, from various pharmaceutical companies. He is a serial entrepreneur and built Netdoktor.se together with Ann-Charlotte into Sweden’s leading health portal. The company was sold in 2016 to Bonnier Healthcare AB. Co-founded Life Science Invest AB together with Ann.-Charlotte 2020. Magnus has started, run and sold several companies in advertising and education.

Life Science Invest AB (LSI) is a business angel network with 100 owners who have invested 60 million sek in 40 start-ups since 2020. LSI has through its founders Ann-Charlotte Beckman and Magnus Klaesson, has conducted a number of training courses for both business angels and for business coaches in recent years.

  • Standard fee: 4 990 kr + VAT
  • Discounted fee: for Current Connect Öst Members: 3 990 kr + VAT

• Connect Öst reserves the right to accept or reject any application without assigning a reason.
• Rescheduling may be requested in writing, but approval is at the sole discretion of Connect Öst and subject to availability.
• If Connect Öst changes the program date or time, you will be informed. You may either continue with the new schedule or withdraw for a full refund.
• In case of full program cancellation by Connect Öst, your fee will be refunded.
