What is impact investing?

And what does it actually mean to be an ”impact investor”?
Impact investors are those who invest in companies, organizations or projects with the intention of generating measurable social and environmental impacts in addition to a financial return. Impact investors often set specific goals, such as reducing poverty or addressing climate change, and actively seek investments that address these issues.

About Impact West

Impact West is an initiative run by Connect Väst and Inclusive Business Partners (and the bootcamp is hosted by the project).

The Impact West project (2025 – 2027) aims to build impact-focused competencies in FoodTech companies and investors in Västra Götaland – with funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERUF), Tillväxverket and Västra Götalandsregionen.
